Kera Georgieva: After a tooth removal, a ball appeared under my jaw. It appeared as a red pimple, cleaved and pus flowed. I was taking antibiotics, the pain is gone, but the ball is still there. I am now taking lincomycin 500. What should I do? Is it dangerous?
Walter Last: There may be an infection in the jawbone which can be seen with x-ray. It the bone is infected it should be surgically opened and the bone scaped clean. You can also try keeping the area covered with propolis or garlic mixed with honey or shine strong blue light on this area (or use blue cellophane).
