Walter Last: Hashimoto’s disease is an autoimmune reaction that may be caused by a dead tooth, e.g. from root canal filling, or chronic infection in the root of a tooth or in the tonsils, any dead teeth or infected roots must be removed. Also mercury amalgam fillings may be a cause or having two different metals in the mouth. These need to be removed.
Get healthy intestinal bacteria by doing bowel cleansing with Epsom salt and garlic flushes for 2 weeks and then lots of acidophilus culture. Do elimination testing for allergies or use a low allergy diet, especially avoid all gluten products, cows’ milk products, soya products, and anything with added chemicals (preservatives, couloring, flavours, synthetic sweeteners).
Best eat only vegetables, fruit, legumes, meat, fish and eggs from fresh products. Use multivitamins and minerals, especially selenium, zinc, and kelp, also Coenzymr Q10 for more energy.. If available before meals 500 mg of L-tyrosine (amino acid). Check that you have enough stomach acid.
